Unpacking for the Hill: Reflections on Amanda Gorman’s The Hill We Climb.

Mar 21 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

Amanda Gorman’s mesmerizing poem declares, “being American is more than pride we inherit, it’s the past we step into and how we repair it.” She invites the listener to see America as “a nation that isn’t broken, but simply unfinished” and repeatedly asks that we boldly look at the reality of America, and then step into action.  We invite you into a dialogue where you will not only listen to the perspectives of others but spend time in smaller breakout groups examining how you might live the values of “A Hill We Climb” into a new American reality.  Join us as we unpack Amanda Gorman’s poem together, finding a call to action for each of us.
